What is a Pell Grant?.
  A Pell grant is a federally funded program and awards are based on need. This is free money that the student does not have to pay back.

How do students apply?
  Students apply for a Pell grant  submitting a Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to the U.S. Department of Education before one is considered for the Pell Grant. Go to   http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/  find the steps to applying.

What can Pell Checks be used for?
  Pell Grant money money can be used for tuition, books, travel and living expenses.
